Regina Spektor's new album (far) is coming out soon, if you didn't already know, and I think you'd like Patrick Wolf and Imogen Heap, both of their albums are almost out as well!

have you heard other lives?
they are adorable.
there is this song E Minor that I like a lot..
and there is a really cute video of them doing it acoustically with all their string instruments.
send me an email if you want me to send you the album
it's quiet music

If you haven't listened to the Pixies yet please do that immediately. I will not rest until everybody on earth is a Pixies fan.

New bands though: Pains of Being Pure of Heart, Vivian Girls, Beach House.

Good question about modern Russian bands. Having trouble finding much information, but you might be interested in this - maybe not - but anyway here's a link to a collection of 60's surfing bands from the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.

Anya Marina, Emiliana Torrini, and Lissy Trullie are all new on my radar & I love what I've heard of them so far. As far as bands go, I love The Bravery, Luscious Redhead & The Airborne Toxic Event.

P.S. When I first heard of Passion Pit, I totally thought it was a restaurant... idk either
