We Interrupt This Program To Bring You...People Doing Cool Things For The World

Did you know that most of those old, "ironic" t-shirts you donate to Goodwill or Salvation Army are actually shipped to businesses in places like Kenya, Tanzania, and Costa Rica? In response to the abundance of t-shirts in these developing countries, Project Repat buys those t-shirts from the local businesses, re-sells them in the U.S., and then donates that money to charities in Africa. That is one insane, and charitable, journey for a t-shirt! They also just launched a kickstarter campaign to help produce products out of donated t-shirts, all hand crafted by local artisans. Donate, ya fools!
